the 801

I’m catching the next plane,
Once we drove five hours to Santa Fe just to get out of Denver for 30 hours.
I feel stuck right now.

I need to be completely submerged in cold water.
Got to.
That’s what I used to do,
in Austin,
when I was younger and busy and sad.

Go to Barton, jump in, and get right out.

This summer,
I did it at Horsetooth.
The cold water breaks the stress up,
freezes it right out,
out,
out.
